Our commitment

Schlege Labs aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Accessibility is part of how we design and build — for our own website and for our clients.

Accessibility options on this website

Select the accessibility button at the bottom-left of any page (or the “Accessibility options” button in the footer) to adjust the site to your needs. The moon/sun button above it switches between light and dark mode in one tap. Your choices are remembered on your device.

  • Dark mode — switch between light and dark themes.
  • Text size — make text larger across the whole site.
  • Readable fonts — switch to Atkinson Hyperlegible, designed for readers with low vision, or Lexend, designed to improve reading fluency.
  • Line spacing — add more space between lines, letters and words.
  • High contrast — increase colour contrast.
  • Underline links — make every link easy to spot.
  • Stop animations — turn off motion effects. This is switched on automatically if your device is set to reduce motion.
  • Highlight focus — show a strong outline around the element you are navigating with the keyboard.

Other features

  • A “Skip to main content” link appears when you press Tab.
  • Images include descriptive alternative text.
  • The site can be navigated using a keyboard.
  • Pages use clear headings and structure for screen readers.
  • Layouts adapt to mobile devices and zoom.

Known limitations

We regularly review the website, but some older content or third-party features may not yet be fully accessible. We are working to improve these areas.
